2017 Awards, Honors & Recognitions
Socorro General Hospital and Plains Regional Medical Center Home Health Programs Recognized by HealthInsight New Mexico. Socorro General Hospital (SGH) Home Health Care is one of only two New Mexico home health agencies to earn the 2017 Home Health Quality Award from HealthInsight New Mexico for excellence in clinical quality and patient care. The award recognizes agencies ranked at or above the 85th percentile on national quality measures. SGH also received a Certificate for Excellence in Quality Improvement.
Both SGH and Plains Regional Medical Center Home Health were among the 11 agencies who earned 2017 Home Health Consumer Assessment of Health Care Providers and Systems (HHCAHPS) Recognition Certificates due to their top 25 percent national rank on HHCAHPS scores. This is the first year that HealthInsight has offered the award program in New Mexico.

Four Presbyterian Rural Hospitals Recognized as Top Performers. On November 17, National Rural Health Day, Presbyterian Healthcare Services celebrated healthcare teams who care for patients in rural areas across New Mexico. This year, we highlight the success of four Presbyterian rural hospitals named 2016 Top Performers by iVantage Health Analytics and the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH).
Presbyterian Española Hospital in Española, New Mexico was named a Top Performer for Excellence in Financial Strength.
Lincoln County Medical Center in Ruidoso, New Mexico was named a Top Performer for Excellence in Quality.
Socorro General Hospital in Socorro, New Mexico was named a Top Performer for Excellence in Quality and Patient Outcomes.
Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, New Mexico was named a Top Performer for Excellence in Financial Strength.
Top Performer 2012. Plains Regional Medical Center was recognized by the Joint Commission as “Top Performers” on key quality measures in 2012.
Top Improver Award. Plains Regional Medical Center was one of 20 hospitals nationwide to receive the Top Improver Award from Press Ganey, the healthcare industry’s leading independent vendor of patient satisfaction measurement and improvement services.
